Coastal Armoring Projects:

In an effort to combat problems with beach erosion, Palm Beach County is currently considering a number of “coastal armoring” projects throughout the County. These range from sand transfer plants to more controversial ideas, like breakwater structures.

To address these issues, Palm Beach County Surfrider put together a Position Statement (click here to view), which discusses the proposals and Palm Beach County Surfrider’s responses and suggested alternatives.
