Position Statements

In an effort to combat problems with beach erosion, Palm Beach County is currently considering a number of “coastal armoring” projects throughout the County. These range from sand transfer plants to more controversial ideas, like breakwater structures.

To address these issues, the Surfrider Foundation Palm Beach County Chapter put together a Position Statement , which discusses the proposals and the Chapter's responses and suggested alternatives.
