Come out and celebrate International Surfing Day with Surfrider Foundation and The Snook Foundation!

The Surfrider Foundation and the Snook Foundation are stoked to present the “Surfin Snook Summer Jam”,  a unique acoustical concert event featuring such names as JJ Grey (of MOFRO), Joey George, Will Conner (of Australia), and Peter Stein (of Truckstop Coffee).  This event is being held to support the ongoing efforts of these two non-profit organizations to protect our state’s oceans, waterways, waves, beaches and marine wildlife.

This half day acoustical concert experience promises to be a family-friendly event filled with awesome musical talent, great food, beer/drinks, children’s activities and unique vendors in a comfortable lawn seating amphitheater environment.  So bring your lounge chairs, blankets and a hat for a great event supporting a great cause.

The date of the Summer Jam is significant because it is on June 20th, International Surfing Day, and the First Day of Summer. International Surfing Day is an annual global celebration of the sport surfing. And these two organizations are pairing up to raise money for protecting the fishing and surfing playground that we call Our Beaches.
